We work on having a growth mindset. Learn the importance of your thoughts, words, actions, that create our habits. We do it all with horses. Working on how to have a growth mindset and not a fixed mindset. We do crafts, games, and of course lots of time with animals on the farm.

This curriculum is designed to teach children the principals of a growth mindset through hands on experiences by horses. By engaging with horses, children will learn how their thoughts influence their actions and ultimately shape their character and destiny. the curriculum combines equine activities with lessons on mental strength, resilience, and personal development.
FARM CAMP

farm camp is a wonderful way to enjoy the great outdoors and educate kids about what farm life entails. it's a unique experience with tons of outdoor fun from mucking stalls to learning how to care for animals. it will surely be an adventure!
We hope your kiddos can come join us for a fun filled adventure at our barnyard camp.
Campers will have an introduction to basic farm animal care such as the following:
- Hands on agricultural learning activities and crafts
- Learn how to feed, groom, bathe, and maintain farm animals
- Learn about animal nutrition, feeding, and anatomy
- We will have horses, rabbits, goats, and more!
RODEO BIBLE CAMP
605 Roots helps sponsor Rising Rock Rodeo Bible Camp. This camp is a Christian Camp located in Sioux Falls, SD that was established in 2022. This camp offers a 4-day overnight summer camp for children 8-12. We help these kiddos grow in their faith through horses and the sport of rodeo. We allow teens and adults to come volunteer. We have a primary focus bible verse for the duration of camp. Campers will have lectures about the bible and lessons on their rodeo class discipline. We dedicate the primary focus towards God during camp. How can we see Him working in our everyday lives? What has He done for you? What blessings do you have? How can we lean on Him and follow His direction?

We offer a variety of classes that range in skill level. We have roughly 90 campers and that requites a lot of help! We allow anyone that is 13+ years old. Go to our website for more information on our classes and volunteering.
